Enrollment, eligibility & Lottery Policy

1. Eligibility criteria
Hyper School is an online school launching in 2026 for students in Grades 6–12.
Enrollment is open to all students who meet the following criteria:
- Grade Level: Students entering Grades 6 through 12 for the 2026–27 school year.
- Age: Applicants must meet the standard age requirements for their intended grade level as defined by their home state’s education guidelines.
- Documentation: Families must complete the online application form and verify residency during the enrollment process.
There are no academic, financial, or behavioral prerequisites for admission.Hyper School does not administer entrance exams, interviews, or performance screenings as part of the enrollment process.Hyper School welcomes:
- Students with disabilities
- English Language Learners (ELL)
- Neurodivergent learners
- Gifted and advanced students
- Students who are behind grade level or seeking flexible learning options
- Students who travel, are homebound, or pursue nontraditional education paths
2.Enrollment and Lottery Details
The application period closes on March 31, 2026. All applications received by this deadline will be included in our enrollment lottery for the 2026–27 school year.
If the number of applications exceeds available seats, a random, board-approved lottery will be held after the deadline to determine who is offered admission.If there are fewer applications than available seats, all eligible applicants will be admitted directly.After the lottery:
- Families will receive an email confirming their enrollment status or waitlist position.
- Applications received after the deadline will be added to the waitlist or considered as space becomes available.
Lottery Exemptions (Permitted by Law)
- Returning students
- Siblings of currently enrolled students
- Children of Hyper School staff or founders (within approved limits)
